Andrea Luis Hernandez was born in 1998 in the island of Tenerife, (Canary Islands, Spain)
In 2016 started her fine arts studies at Universidad de La Laguna which she concluded in 2023, this degree specialized her in studio painting although, her inclinations for the big format will induce her into the study and, later on, incorporation to the street art community.
This position was reaffirmed after participating the program Woman and Street art symposium sessions offered by Urvanity Art collective (2019 )which will later lead her to her first participation on a street art festival: Festival Rural Las Eras (2019)

Later that same year she will relocate herself in Greece, which will be her artistic base till the present day. The exposition to the thriving Athenian graffiti art scene will influenciate her early works

During 2019-2020 Andrea will develop a special interest for street photography, traveling across Greece working on the field, generating several reportages focusing on social and civil unrest and the migration crisis in the Mediterranean Sea which will lead her to Lesvos island (2020) where she will have access to the (now relocated) Moria Refugee Camp where she will conduct a self explorative photographic investigation on the living conditions of the migrants in pithing its premises.

Upon her arrival in Greece she will participate at Petit Paris of Athens Festival with a collaborative mural featuring the German street artists Fiete Beckmann.

Between the years 2020- 2022 Andrea will began merging her photography activism with her mural production, influenced by the Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, Daniel Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueiros she began to see the potential of street art as a didactic medium, introducing like this political content in her mural production
In September 2021 Andrea will participate at Stray Art Festival at Syros island, Greece, with the proposal “First Day at school” a collaboration with the Greek artist Fenok
In October 2021 will participate at Pompei Street art Festival with two different interventions in the cities of Pompei and Castellamare, Italy .
In Novemeber 2021 will participate at The Área 503 at El Salvador (city), El Salvador with two interventions.
In December 2021 will participate at Pintemos Tlayacapan in Morelos, México with one intervention.
From 2022-2024 Andrea has developed other projects alongside a local production of murals like the solo exhibition releasing on 2024, Every Day Beauty a collection of drawings and sculptures depicting different aspects of the Athenian society.
In October 2023 will participate, together with the Greek artist Andreas Votikas in the art show Always Late, displaying part of her photograph production as well as her studio paintings.

Her most recent artistic activity is the mural collection for her project ATHENS VICINITIES a self organized proposal to reclaim the public space from the governmental curation control placing murals in strategical points of the city portraying thematics of socio political interest destined to raise awareness in between the local population.
ATHENS VICINITIES began on May 2024 with the finalization of the mural MIGLE and continues with the current production of the stop motion MAJID FIGHTS ALL OVER EUROPE.

Andrea´s current artistic style and statement consist in the exploration through the street art experience of the possibilities that the public space offers on the matter of socio political awareness and community consensus or distress
Her theme of choice opens wide to her personal experience on domestic events parting from a photographic base of her own to create compositions that mostly made use of mix media techniques parting on a base of traditional studio procedures.
